Frequently asked questions

The things fleet operators ask us first.

Does it work with petrol (ICE) TukTuks, or only electric?
Both. Payments, contracts, maintenance, and reporting are identical for petrol and electric fleets. Battery monitoring and swap tracking simply switch on when a vehicle is electric.
What if my vehicles don't have GPS trackers?
You can still run your entire fleet on the platform — payments, contracts, balances, maintenance, and reports all work without GPS. Live location and battery data need a supported GPS/IoT unit; RhingGo-equipped e-TukTuks work out of the box, and other trackers can be integrated on request.
Can I keep my existing M-Pesa Paybill or Till number?
Yes. We bind your existing Paybill or Till during setup — drivers keep paying exactly the way they do today. DTB Till Moja bank feeds are supported for automatic import.
How long does onboarding take?
Typically a few days. The one-time setup fee covers fleet and driver migration, M-Pesa binding, and training for your managers — you don't need to enter your data yourself.
Who owns my data?
You do. Your fleet, driver, and payment data belong to you, and you can export everything as CSV or PDF at any time.
Do my drivers need to install an app?
No. Drivers interact through what they already use: M-Pesa for payments and WhatsApp for receipts, balances, and contract signing. Any phone works.
